I’ve always like making my own Christmas cards. An early one, like 1990, was the twelve days of Christmas in rubber stamps carved from erasers, printed on vellum. Pretty sweet, but then I don’t think I have even one left.
Here’s the rough sketch that became the somewhat overdrawn raven above. Probably my most popular card with the relatives and friends because the most realistic. Also the tinsel is real, glued on.
The most recent card (2022) shipped with a red pencil for colouring. I asked people to send me a photo and will post some of their terrific efforts here.
