Apology*

Turns out I regret yesterday word salad.
A good poem is very hard to create. Words for most of us have no real depth. We skim, and as long as we stay on the surface it all seems pretty coherent. It’s when we wade in that some of us get into trouble. Maudlin, hangry, stuffy, obscure, there’s a lot of pot holes where you end up over your head.
‎It’s nice to want to swim, but sometimes it’s better to stay in the shallow end of the pool.
Oddly, there’s an upside, I have a renewed appreciation for Hallmark, and tidy homes decorated conventionally. without taste.
